China to Lead Global Vending & Smart Retail Industry
China’s vending machine industry is marked by a steadily expanding global presence. Before the pandemic, China’s export value of vending machines has already increased from 43.25 million dollars in 2015 to 103.17 million dollars in 2019. As for the smart retail sector, ever since the pandemic began, China’s smart retail industry has stepped on the gas pedal, with registered unmanned retail companies exceeding 16,000 by mid 2020.

Beginning from 2022, VMF and SRE, which are respectively China’s leading vending and smart retail shows, will merge into the brand new Asia Vending & Smart Retail Expo (VRE)!

Jointly gathering 700 exhibitors on a 50,000 sq.m show floor, VMF & SRE 2021 counted over 100,000 visits. Not expecting so huge a crowd, many exhibitors ran out of product catalogs on the second day and gaily announced their return for 2022.
